Are you still concerned about security if using hotel WIFI which
requires a password ?
Yes. you are on the same network as others. There would have to be a firewall between each user. This is the same as if you logged on to a wifi in a coffee house.
How is that less secure than using the TEP mobile
WIFI? Don’t they both connect mobile device to cell tower through the
WIFI?
Tep has a firewall to a cell tower. It is specific to you. It changes your phone into a local cellphone through the wifi connection. Of course, if you have an international plan, you could connect directly to the cell tower. I don't think there would be much difference, except perhaps in the future, when the bad people are hacking cell towers like they do networks today.
