BitLocker Real Life Experience Recorded

I went through the entire BitLocker enabling experience on my older computer with Windows 10 Pro.  I've recorded it in this document.  In reading up on Microsoft's BitLocker, it sounds like it is available only for Windows 10 Pro and above.  Fortunately, anyone that converted from an older Windows Home Edition version was converted to Windows 10 Pro.

By the way, here is THE official Microsoft document on BitLocker:  https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/device-security/bitlocker/bitlocker-overview.

If you don't use BitLocker because you are on a device with an Apple, Android, Linux, or older Windows operating system, and you don't want to pay for the application, then an alternative recommended by many articles on the web is VeraCrypt.  This should work on any platform.  However, for non-Windows systems, there is usually an app for that, which is probably pre-installed.  Check your device for encryption in your device's Settings.  If it isn't there, go to your app store.
